Gadget News - Chief Executive Officer Nokia Stephen Elop reiterated that Nokia will release a smartphone based on Windows 7 Phone in the fourth quarter of this year. In an interview quoted by the website China, Sina, Elop said that the release schedule between October and December 2011. The release will be done gradually, from one country to another.

In the interview, Elop, who was in China said that the release of Windows 7 will not be the same as the release of the Nokia N9 with MeeGo conducted simultaneously in several countries. As in the Apollo and Mango, there’s Tango, the version of Windows Phone to the middle to lower. Tango will help Nokia phones based on the demographic spread to compete with Android.

In the interview, Elop said Nokia plans to re-invest in Symbian in 2015. Beyond the discussion on the Windows Phone, Elop also answers the question of whether Nokia plans to produce tablets. Elop stated there are no plans to produce tablets, but Nokia will consider consumer demand.
